This large Building Services Contractor is led by a dynamic, experienced board of directors, continually investing in the knowledge and skills of their people and are frequently becoming the contractor of choice for large scale and technically challenging projects.
The sectors that they cover within their business incorporate leisure, healthcare, education, commercial, industrial, retail and facilities management.
They have been focusing their efforts on building a high calibre team that is capable of delivering to the most challenging of programmes. This is reflected in the projects that they work upon and the people they employ.
By working for this respected mechanical and electrical building services contractor as a Mechanical Estimator, you will be working on projects within the leisure, health, education, commercial, retail and industrial sectors. This variety of projects provides an interesting workload for any individual looking to join as an Estimator.
Based in the head office and working on projects throughout the Yorkshire region, the Mechanical Estimator will be working from a bill of quantities, compiled by a Quantity Surveyor, to calculate the mechanical financial conditions on a contract or project. This may include labour costs, plant and material costs, as well as equipment needed to provide a mechanical service which covers all heating, ventilation and air conditioning. They will also be responsible for estimating time requirements and other conditions concerning the mechanical aspects of the project as a whole.
This contractor use standard industry estimating packages which an experienced Estimator will be well versed in, but a less experienced Estimator will be trained in.
